1855
First Methodist Class meeting organized at Yancy House

1856
Village of Pana Illinois is chartered

1865
October 19, Church moved to Third & Poplar site (Cost $1,500)

1890
Two story parsonage build next to the church.

1892
Moved church across Third Street and began effecting bring structure

1893
May 7 church dedicated at cost of $17,400. Mayor W.E. Hayward offered to give a pipe organ in memory of his daughter and the people responded by raising $5,000 that day retiring all debt.

1954
October 31 broke ground for educational wing at cost of $70,000. Dedicated May 6, 1962.

1963
Purchased a new parsonage at 906 S. Hickory at a cost of $24,000.

1968
November, the Chochrane Memorial gift of $200,000 was given by Mrs. Fae Cochrane Marcell, for a sanctuary in memory of her parents,Andrew Jackson and Jennie Hathaway Cochrane and her brother Robert Edwin Cochrane. The eventual value of the memorial totaled $257,880.

1969
August 7, the Lowell School site at Kitchell & Seventh Street was purchased for the new church.

1970
October 11 the congregation participated in the ground breaking.

1972
March 12, the congregation moved by procession from the old building to the new church. November 5, service of consecration with Bishop Lance Webb preaching.

1976
December 12, burning of the mortgage

1981
April 22 the property which is now the upper parking lost was purchased from the Vesta Stout estate.

1993
Completion of the remodeling and addition to the parsonage.

1995
Property was purchased from First National Bank of Pana to create a Memorial Park.
